Instituto Flauta Mágica is a non-profit organization that has been teaching children ballet, choir, and sweet flute for 24 years in the outskirts of MT/Brazil.
Screening of the film Pixinguinha, an Affectionate Man, by Denise Saraceni and Allan Fiterman. It tells the story of the father of MPB, Alfredo da Rocha Vianna Junior “Pixinguinha” (1897-1973), a Brazilian composer, arranger, flutist, and saxophonist. He was a misunderstood genius, very much ahead of his time, who only had his importance recognized years later.
