ArtsLaunch is the biggest free community event in Miami that celebrates the performing arts and other arts disciplines. This open house is the annual kick-off to Miami’s art season! ArtsLaunch is a full day of over 50 activities including free mini performances, interactive workshops, kids' activities, farmers market, tours and more.

Peking Acrobats Presented by SMDCAC

For over 30 years, The Peking Acrobats’ jaw-dropping acrobatic skills and colorful productions have enchanted audiences worldwide. Based on centuries old Chinese folk traditions, their impossible-seeming feats of balance, juggling, trick cycling, and precision tumbling stretch the limits of human ability, while beautiful traditional costumes and music recreate the atmosphere of an exuberant Chinese carnival. The troupe usually performs at much larger venues – don’t miss this chance to see them up close!

Jason Bishop, Illusionist Presented by Culture Shock Miami

Magic-maker Jason Bishop has been called the hottest illusionist of his generation, performing his awe-inducing original show at major venues across the U.S. and Europe and opening for stars like Drake and Kesha. And you could be one of his audience volunteers!

With the purchase of one $5 ticket for someone within the 13-22 age range, a second $5 ticket can be purchased for an individual of any age to join them.

Carnival! Presented by Orchestra Miami

Orchestra Miami’s Nicklaus Children’s Pinecrest Urgent Care Center’s Family Fun Series continues with Carnival! Let’s learn about and celebrate Carnival through the different cultures which celebrate! Enjoy the music and dance from Brazil, Trinidad, Venice, New Orleans and more! The concert is on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Pinecrest Gardens, 11000 SW 57 Avenue, Pinecrest, FL 33156. The performance lasts about 1 hour and is appropriate for children of all ages. Come early for the instrument petting zoo, courtesy of Allegro Music Center, and stay after for complimentary juice and cookies!
