The great works of Balanchine continue as a through-line for the season into the spring, paired with choreographers who were later influenced by his mastery of the form.

For the winter season, our exquisite dancers continue to perform cherished pieces from the ballet canon along with new works created by some of today’s most promising choreographers.

Prepare for a head-bopping, playful, and sentimental journey as iconic tunes from the 80s and 90s ignite memories and emotions from your past, evoking a powerful coming- of-age experience. Dance Now! Miami will also showcase two audience favorites. “Sogni, the things my dreams are made of,” a surreal journey into the depths of one man's mind, where dreams and reality intertwine in a mesmerizing display of imagination and “House on Fire” which sets the stage ablaze with a seductive romp through a night of playful debauchery.

Dance NOW! returns the intimate stage of Coral Gables’ newest performance space celebrating the venue’s third anniversary, featuring highlights from the season and a sneak preview of Program III.

As the season comes to a close, Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida's Spring Ballet Gala will take center stage, showcasing a repertoire that only the highest caliber of dancers can execute flawlessly. Celebrate the grand finale with the captivating production of "Petrouchka”, featuring Stravinsky's mesmerizing music, stunning costumes, breathtaking scenery, and choreography by Issaev himself. Set in the midst of a fair, this Ballet in one act unravels the tale of three puppets: the lovestruck clown, Petrouchka; the infatuated Ballerina; and the alluring Moor. Guided by the manipulative Charlatan, these characters come to life, embodying human emotions and evoking a range of sentiments. The program will feature the timeless and classical ballet, "Le Spectre de La Rose." This short ballet follows a young girl who dreams of dancing with the spirit of a souvenir rose from her first ball. With music by Webber and choreography by Fokine, this piece captures the essence of youthful enchantment.

Arts Ballet presents the highly anticipated production of "Le Papillon" (The Butterfly). Choreographed by the acclaimed Vladimir Issaev himself, this new rendition, set to the captivating music of Offenbach, promises an extraordinary showcase of virtuosity by our talented professional dancers. "Le Papillon" is a two-act fairy-themed ballet that originated from the esteemed Paris Opera Ballet. The story revolves around the mischievous fairy Hamza, the kidnapped princess Farfalla, and the valiant prince Djalma. As the plot unfolds, Farfalla undergoes a magical transformation into a butterfly, leading to a series of enchanting and bewildering events. With the combination of powerful performances by our professional corps, elaborate sets and costumes, and the visionary choreography of Vladimir Issaev, this enchanting production guarantees to mesmerize both new and returning audiences.
