Join The Betsy Hotel for public screenings of Nothing Can Be Done, But Something Can Be Said on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 7 PM and 8 PM in B Bar.
Created in partnership with The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus in 2010, this short documentary and multimedia film uses poetry and World War II letters to reflect on wartime sacrifice, family, and remembrance.
The title originates from the closing line of “Requiem for Edward Carrigh,” a poem by three-time Pulitzer Prize finalist, World War II veteran, and soldier-poet Hyam Plutzik, whose life and legacy inspire The Betsy Hotel’s commitment to arts, culture, and community.
Presented as part of Forever Honored at The Betsy. Free and open to the public.
