Student Stages of the Sun: Plays by Student Playwrights

Fantasy Theatre Factory invites you to join South Florida Theatre League for Student Stages of the Sun: Plays by Student Playwrights at the Sandrell Rivers Theater. The play reading is part of SFTL's Summer Theatre Fest 2019 and brings to life short plays written by middle and high school students from South Florida. It is the only reading in Summer Theatre Fest specifically dedicated to developing young voices in our community!

El teatro es una máquina de coser memorias. Los textos del siglo de oro español se fusionan con el oro que los conquistadores se llevaron de Bolivia. Es el oro cultural que atraviesa el tiempo y que solo la memoria rescata. The theater is a sewing machine that stitches memories together. The writings from Spain's Golden Age become fused with the gold that the conquistador took from Bolivia. Its cultural gold that moves across time and that only memory saves by honoring the troubadour's art.

Murder for Two Presented by Actors' Playhouse

Mixing classic musical comedy with a dash of Agatha Christie, everyone is a suspect in this house of eccentric characters unfazed by the dead body on the floor. Murder for Two is a hilarious musical murder mystery with a twist; one actor investigates the crime, the other plays all 13 suspects, and they both play the piano! A zany madcap musical mystery, this 90-minute whodunit is a highly theatrical duet loaded with killer laughs.
