The mission of La Zarzuela, Inc. is to revitalize the art of the zarzuela, the preeminent Spanish musical theatre genre. In this varied recital you will enjoy solos and ensembles from famous zarzuelas in the voices of Kiley Hernández, Katiuska Rodríguez, Patricia Arcadí, Eduardo Calcaño, and Jorge Arcila, accompanied by pianist Daniel Daroca, with the participation of members of the Miami Beach Senior Chorus: Leida Hernandez, Beatriz Sosa, José L. Bezi, Angela Rappa, Angela Vergara, Clara Ortega, Frances Yanes, Hipatia Moreno, Leonor Vérité, Leonor Jimenez, Magüi Benitez, María Mercado, Olga López, Miguel Sanchez, Manny Sanchez, Yolanda Armesto, Iliana Pena
The repertory will include selections from
La Dolorosa, and Luisa Fernanda, among others.
The recitals will take place at:

and at the Arva Park Auditorium of the Main Library, on May 30.
